Bryce McDonnell, MPH Chief Executive Officer
Bryce has most recently worked with Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland, Oregon as an operations consultant to their volunteer department. He was responsible for streamlining the flow of volunteer movement within the hospital to develop a community feel and ensure patients had more time with volunteers. Mr. McDonnell has worked in the health care field for a number of years as a medical assistant, billing specialist and research coordinator for the Oregon Brain and Spine Institute. In this capacity, he was assigned to start and grow the department for a group of six neurosugeons. The group had 10 projects running by the time he left in late 2006. Mr. McDonnell observed more phsysicians had the basic desire to participate in research studies but lacked the infrastructure to do so. Lab Coat Innovations is a result of using technology to enable physicians in any practice size conduct research as they wish.
Mr. McDonnell holds a B.S. in biochemistry, minor in psychology, from Whitworth University (cum laude) and a Master's of Public Health (emphasis in health economics) from Portland State University. Research interests include neurological chemistry and its behavioral impacts and payer strategies in health care delivery. He has given a seminar on neurochemical oscillations and the plausibility of elucidating an etiology for bipolar disorder.
Dan Schrenk
Chief Information Officer
Dan holds a management information systems degree from Oregon Institute of Technology. Dan was most recently employed at Microneurosurgical Consultants, PC. as IT Manager. Dan has 8 years of experience in the IT world. His experience has been both very technical as a Systems Administrator as well as business-oriented as an IT Manager. He has also has entrepreneurial experience, being involved in 6 other start-ups.
Kenneth T. Phillips Vice President of Sales
Kenneth most recently was Executive Vice President of ADASA Inc. an RFID startup and is co-inventor for several patents pending initiated during his tenor. Mr. Phillips was responsible for developing RFID enabled business process change for clients such as Kraft Foods Inc, Kimberly-Clark, Toyota, and Wal-Mart. Prior to that Mr. Phillips was Chief Operating Officer of HBN Inc., a software networking and broadcasting company and was responsible for day to day running of the company. Mr. Phillips has also served as a Vice President of Marketing in the Auto-ID and Supply Chain Management industry. Prior to that Mr. Phillips worked for over 17 years at Apple Computer Inc. in a variety of Sales, Marketing and Operations positions. While at Apple his sales accomplishments were impressive. He was a “USA Sales impact Award Winner” and 4 times “Golden Apple Odyssey Winner”, the highest level awards a sales person can earn at Apple.
Mr. Phillips is a graduate of California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo with a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology and a minor in Computer Science. Mr. Phillips has attended numerous executive leadership and management training courses over the period of his career.
